Let’s Clean-Up and Blog!

The sake of our Environment

https://pk.mashable.com/social-good/5084/pakistan-national-council-of-arts-pnca-is-conducting-an-art-competition-called-clean-green-pakistan

Our country has been producing over 21 million metric tons of garbage every year. The National Capital Region (NCR), with its estimated population of over 12 million, is the biggest producer of garbage. With all of these wastes in our country, it may create serious negative impacts like infectious diseases, land and water pollution, obstruction of drains, and loss of biodiversity. We could change these results by helping together.

There are so many ways to help the whole country and avoid these negative impacts. Here are a few ways to reduce waste:

·   Start using reusable items. Avoid using plastics instead, use reusable bottles, eco-bags, jars/containers, clothing etc.
·   Recycle. Start recycling recyclable items at home instead of throwing them away and purchase products that come with less packaging or come in packaging that can be recycled.
·   Start composting your fruit and vegetable scraps, egg shells, coffee grounds, glass clippings, and leaves.
·   Avoid using straws and paper/plastic cups.

Making these as everyone’s habit would help a lot in reducing the country’s waste. Let’s do our best for our own future and have a clean environment.

Be mindful of your actions. Throwing one trash away wouldn’t look like it would affect the community so much but by doing these on a daily basis, it would result to something bigger which was mention in the first paragraph. So always consider the aftermath of your decisions.

Absorbing New Knowledge

In Quarter 1, I gained a lot of new knowledge about the internet. I got familiar with Internet BrowsersWorld Wide Web, Internet Services and Tools, ways on using Search Engines, Internet Access and also learned how to create your own blogs and how to avoid plagiarismI really enjoyed blogging our activities. It is so much fun and it makes me feel professional with the works I have done for this subject.

I had encountered a few challenges during this quarter, such as not having anyone to accompany me through the module, but this is the new normal so I got through it like everyone else. Just a little bit more and we will go back to the actual normal, so I will try my best ‘til then.

Moving on, I will most likely continue the habit of blogging and because of this quarter, I could probably do things on my own without the help of anyone else when encountering something new in the internet.

Is the "New Normal" Really Efficient and Effective?

The COVID-19 pandemic had caused so many changes in our everyday life. With lockdowns happening in every town, so little-to-none can go out of their houses, which is affecting our jobs and financial support. Not just the adults have it hard, it is also affecting the children, students had a lot of changes to go through with this “new normal” in education.

Having this “new normal” is a challenge to the children. There have been a whole ton of load work with the school requirements, also without having a proper tutor to guide them through the topics. This changes unfortunately caused the death of some young students.

As time goes by, the students slowly got used to the “new normal” and things are going great. Some schools do online classes more than self-studying more, like modular learning. If I were to ask, having online classes would be a more efficient way of teaching for the students because it is the closest to having face-to-face classes. As to modular learning, you need to study the topics yourself, with little to no interaction with your class.

Years has been passing by and the world is slowly coming back to normal. Hopefully everyone in our country will be able to go back to normal too, for the children to actually gain knowledge and not just answering to pass.

The Better World

Every country has a lot of problems that it’s sometimes so hard, it will make them just want to give up. Philippines has been through a lot of wars, colonization, and many more challenges but our heroes learned to fight for our freedom and what is right for us. These problems caused extreme disaster but Filipinos are strong and we found our way to make the country great and independent. Showing everyone that we can be resilient and could be one of the best countries. And we should maintain our resilience of the Philippines.

In the present, a lot of crimes has been happening and a slow destruction of our nature mostly caused by humans. People won’t naturally notice that they have their own contributions in the current situation of the environment unless they put their mind into it.

The government is doing their best to maintain a beautiful country but things won’t always go their way and problems are always going to pop up out from everywhere. They won’t be able to achieve the goals of being a resilient country unless all the people in the Philippines work together at all times to make the country a better place. As they practice helping together and they will build it as a habit, the country will be at their peak. As I believe, if everyone works together, they will be the most powerful among the others. Having the same goal and understanding each other would make things easier and it will make our leader become unafraid of everyone trying to oppose his decisions.

Working together and understanding each other will make our country strong and resilient to any kinds of problems. And this is a custom that we should have for the best of our country.

Dear President Duterte,

As a concerned citizen of The Republic of the Philippines, I personally want to thank you for your great and respectable service throughout the years of being the President in our country. You have done so many things to make our country a better place. Did a lot of campaigns changes for the good like War on Drugs, Build! Build! Build! Infrastructure Plan, Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act, TRAIN Law and so much more that helped so many people.

It's sad for me but in less than a year, your term as a President will be ending. I at least want to remind you that you have drawn smiles on everyone's faces and you did all your best to make our country better. I hope you don't stop from doing good deeds and fighting for the good. Thank you so much for being one of the best and honest president, it's been long and you deserve a good rest.

Sincerely,
Gwyneth Agcamaran

Never-ending Story

I would describe myself as a book… A beautiful one, with an eye-catching cover that would represent my personality, which would have musical notes and different kind of instruments for my love for music, and I would fill it with dozens of hearts for I naturally love everyone. And because I am deeply in love with someone, one of the hearts should be colored yellow-blue as it represents our forbidden love. The cover of my book shows the ones I care about the most in my life.

A book has no worth without a story and so we need a pen and the right amount of pages to write on. As to my life, the whole book is my mind, my memories. The pen holds the people I have met in my life and the things we all have done together. The pages serve as my lifespan which is something I don’t know, because my pages only increases by one daily. And the hand that holds the pen is the hand of yours truly.

Life would be hard at times and it can’t be helped that I’ll have ugly, torn, dirty pages, a painful sight for the naked eye to see that no one would dare to read it again. But sometimes life would be very beautiful and these beautiful happenings will be written down in colorful and sparkling sheets of papers. It’s the things that I would never get tired of reading over and over again, having a happy family, being in love, having fun times with friends and so much more.

Yes, I am the kind of person that treasures all kinds of memories, people, objects, every single thing because who knows when will be the last time I will talk to my friends, they could be forgotten without me noticing. Being optimistic with the future and never forgetting to look back to all the things I’ve done in the past. That is me. A loving, caring friend, daughter and maybe a lover.
