Activity no.4

Viva Vigan! Celebration 2022

Biguenos from all over the country and even abroad return to Vigan, as it is the custom of Filipinos to return to their hometown to join their family and friends in the celebration of their fiesta. They are joined by thousands of visitors from other parts of the Philippines and other countries in enjoying the cultural shows, parades and street dancing. There are also food fairs, arts and crafts exhibits, as well as a visiting carnival.

That’s how it usually works but not during this pandemic. Less people are assumed to join the celebration or worse, there could be no celebration at all. But even if the day is going to be a normal day, we shouldn’t forget that January 25th is our patron saint, St. Paul the Apostle’s conversion. We should at least prepare some food to celebrate with our own families. Celebrate it in a way where everyone is safe form the virus.
