Activity no.2

Merry Christmas for Merry Filipinos

Christmas—whenever I hear this one specific word, I feel a longing, nostalgic feeling. Missing the past, missing my family, the past where once my family was whole and contented. But even all of these, my parents have raised me to be a grateful daughter. At the end of the day, everyone will have a smiley face drawn in their faces.

Everything started when I was younger but it just got worse when the pandemic came. The virus gave so many changes in our daily to yearly lifestyles and one of the big changes that occurred is the celebration of Christmas. It’s where we are supposed to have fun, be with your family again after a long year. Unfortunately we can’t do all these because of the continuous increase of covid cases. We are forced to stay at home and stay safe for our own good.

At the end of the day, we are Filipinos. We will always find ways to make everyone smile and happy even in the in the middle of a pandemic. This year may not have been the best but we did our best to make it like one.
